Our phenomenal story began in 1993 in Bloomington,
Minnesota were the founders been experimenting fingerprint mathematical
algorithms. The founders of the BIO-key developed the foundation of the
biometric industry.

BBG Engineering was formed as a privately held company
by Ben Wittig; the inventor of VST, Barry Wendt; an entrepreneur who
believed in the idea of fingerprint biometrics and Gary Wendt, who
became the Chief Executive Officer. |
| 1995 |
BBG Engineering changed its name to SAC
Technologies, Inc. aka Secure Access Control Technologies, Inc. another
privately held Company. |
| 1996 |
SAC was taken public in an IPO and became registered
with the SEC and was traded on NASDAQ. The company is now public and
its shares of common stock can be traded on the open market. |
| 1999 |
SAC Technologies, Inc. changed its name to BIO-Key
International, Inc. |
| 2004 |
In April BIO-key acquires; The public Safety Group, a
privately held company
In September BIO-key acquires Aether Mobil Government from Aether
Incorporated, a publicly traded company. |
