The FSTC has established a counter-phishing initiative to address the issues of phishing scams, a major concern in the financial services industry.
This initiative focuses on defining technical and operating requirements of financial institutions for counter-phishing measures and clarifying the infrastructure fit, requirements, and impact of technologies when deployed in concert with customer education, enforcement, and other industry initiatives.

Biometric Industry Association (IBIA):
The IBIA is a trade association chartered to advance the collective
international interests of the biometric industry. IBIA is impartially dedicated
to serve all biometric technologies in all applications and speaks with
authority for the biometric industry to the public opinion leaders, and

regularly contributing to the development IBIA technical standards and marketing

Consortium:
The BioAPI Consortium was founded to develop a biometric Application Programming
Interface (API) to bring platform and device independence to application
programmers and biometric service providers. The resultant specification for a
standardized API is compatible with a wide range of biometric application
programs and a broad spectrum of biometric technologies. BIO-key offers two
versions of our BioAPI compliant SDKs that meet and exceed this standard.
